How to Get Your Google Search Back

Google search is cluttered with AI summaries, shopping ads, and forced localization. To get the "classic" experience back, use these URL parameters.

The Clean Bookmark Kit

Copy these links to bypass the mess. All versions are English-language, AI-free, and Verbatim (no "suggested" products).

Global / No-Region https://www.google.com/search?q=&gl=us&hl=en&pws=0&udm=14&tbs=li:1

Netherlands https://www.google.com/search?q=&gl=nl&hl=en&udm=14&tbs=li:1

Finland https://www.google.com/search?q=&gl=fi&hl=en&udm=14&tbs=li:1

Explanation:

  • udm=14: The AI Killer. Forces the "Web" filter (links only).

  • tbs=li:1: Verbatim Mode. Removes "Product" carousels and forces exact word matches.

  • pws=0: Zero Personalization. Blocks search history from influencing results.

  • gl=xx: Sets the Region (us, nl, fi).

  • hl=en: Keeps the Language in English.

Tip: Add these as "Site Search" shortcuts in browser settings (using %s for the query) to make clean search the default.
